"Ugh… is it over?" Auro was the first to speak out of the three. The ground had stopped shaking and the room had gone completely silent.

"I think so…" Next was Sara. "That was a close call… Wouldn't it be weird of the stupid charm caused the earthquake?"

"T-the charm isn't—!" Thunk! "Ow…"

"What'd you hit, Auro?" That was Steph, her voice sounding only inches away from the others. The room had gotten strangely darker than what it had been before, so the trio could barely see their own hands in front of their faces, let alone each other.

"I think she hit her head on…" Sara lifted her hand, only to have her knuckles brush against smooth wood only a short ways above her head. "… A table?" She finished, blinking in confusion.

"Ow… How did we get under a table?" Auro asked them as she rubbed the crown of her head. "I forgot – did we duck under the fold-out table or something?" Steph didn't answer Auro, as she had scooted backwards only to feel her back scrape the smooth and sturdy legs of a chair. That simple thing had made her frown in bewilderment. They hadn't had any chairs around the table in their clubroom. "Hold on a few seconds, guys…" She said, silencing both Sara and Auro, who had been muttering to each other about the earthquake. Steph turned her body and pushed the seat out from beneath the table. It made very little muffled sounds on carpet – something the girls were only now just realizing they were sitting on instead of wooden flooring – as it was moved just enough for Steph to crawl out on her hands and knees.

After Steph had gotten out of the way and stood up, the other two followed behind her. "… Does anyone else notice anything different?" Steph eventually inquired dryly, her pale blue gaze darting to take in their surroundings.

"W-wah!! This isn't our clubroom!" Auro exclaimed in utter shock, whirling around so fast on her feet that she nearly knocked over one of the other chairs.

Her statement was entirely true; the room was maybe a bit smaller, containing the long table that they had just emerged from beneath that was covered with a fancy-looking baby blue tablecloth. Six chairs – including the one Steph had pushed out – were neatly set around the table. There were red velvety curtains covering the only pair of windows in the room, which explained the darkness. On the farthest end of the room, right next to the only door, was a large green chalkboard. And other than the trio, the room was completely empty of any other persons.

"This is weird…" Sara whispered, looking around with wide blue eyes. "How did we get in here?"

Steph took a few steps towards the door, glancing at the blank chalkboard before her attention was drawn to the small wardrobe tucked into the corner next to the door. Without hesitation, she crossed over to it and peered inside. There were only a few coats. "Huh… So people use this room, I'm guessing?" She said to no one, really, before lightly pushing the closet's doors shut again.

Her cat-like curiosity getting the best of her, Auro found herself wandering to the other side of the table to feel the curtains. "Wow… Real velvet, or something…" She murmured in awe, tugging the fabric aside to peek outside. Her eyes were then assaulted by the bright light of the sun, and she winced before they adjusted. The windows showed little but trees and plain, untrimmed grass. Where are we? Auro wondered with a frown before releasing the red material and letting the curtains fall back into place.

Sara had followed Steph partially, only instead of focusing on the coat closet she tried her hand at the door. But the moment she tried to turn the handle, she was met with a shocking and muffled clicking noise. "G-guys… The door..."

The other two looked at her.

"It's locked… we're locked in…"

"W-what?! We can't get out!?"

"Let me see that…" Steph went over to the door, forcing Sara to step away as she tried opening the door herself. Getting the same results, the English girl frowned. "Maybe we aren't supposed to be in here?" She offered to the others, turning to face them.

Auro felt her body tremble a bit nervously. "How did we get in here in the first place, though, if the door was locked?" She bit her bottom lip and shook her head from left to right. "I don't wanna get in trouble!"

"H-hang on, Auro, we need to think rationally for a bit here…" Sara held up her hands in a motion for her friend to calm down. "I mean, there's probably been a mix-up or mistake, or whatever. Someone's probably gonna come and—…" She froze midsentence, her eyes widening.

In the space outside of their room, the faint sounds of voices and approaching footsteps could be heard. "Holy crap, hide!" Sara shrieked in a quieted tone, her former thoughts dashed.

Steph immediately backed away from the door and spun on her heels to face the closest thing to hide herself in – the wardrobe. With great ease and speed, she ran over to it and flung the door open. If she scrunched up small, she could probably conceal herself behind the hanging coats. So, climbing inside and tugging the doors shut after her, Steph pushed her way behind the coats and jackets and pressed her back to the wall. Her legs were tugged up to hug her chest, and she prayed that she couldn't be seen by anyone that decided to open the doors.

Sara, meanwhile, had vaulted herself to slide underneath the table, bumping her head on a leg of a chair in the process, swearing under her breath. Scrambling, she tugged the chair that had been pulled out earlier back in, so that she could more easily conceal herself.

The only odd one out was Auro, who had frozen in surprise at Sara's warning call. Looking around and finding nowhere to hide, she almost panicked – until she remembered the thick curtains behind her. Without a second thought, Auro found herself yanking them back open and stuffing herself between the cool glass of the windows and the soft, dark velvet.

Not even a moment after Steph shut the closet doors, Sara pulled in the chair, and Auro adjusted the curtains back into place, the voices and feet reached the door. From beyond the wood, the sounds of at least two raised voices went from muffled to perfectly clear as the door swung open.

"—stupid frog! Quit bringing up French fashion! None of us bloody care!"

"Just because you 'ave no fashion sense…"

"Wanker! My clothes are just fine!"

"Both of you should shut up, aru! The meeting hasn't even started yet!"

At least three — "Dudes, everyone chill! The hero can settle all of this!"—make that four different people had entered the room, from what the trio of girls could tell.

Suddenly, the door of the closet Steph was lurking in was flung open. Her breath catching in her throat, Steph nearly had a heart attack and went completely rigid. But the person who opened the door only tossed in his coat, saying to the others in a thick Russian accent: "I believe we should be getting along with meeting, da?" The man didn't even glance into the closet as he shut it once more. Steph put a hand to her heart to keep it from bursting from her chest. That had been much too close of a call for comfort.

Sara, beneath the table, tried to keep her breathing as shallow and quiet as possible. She saw six different sets of legs move around the table, some remaining standing while others went to sit on chairs. One particular pair of limbs made their way to the chair directly in front of her, pausing for a mere second – then the chair was yanked out with a bit of carelessness. It was all Sara could do not to let out a shocked gasp. Puffed up pants and pure white knee-high socks completed with slip-on Chinese shoes sat themselves on the chair, nearly kicking Sara. "For once, I agree with him. We need to start now, aru." The voice belonging to the legs in front of Sara was laced with an irritated Chinese drawl. Once Sara managed to calm herself down – as much as she could do, hiding under a simple table – she tried to bring her attention to the voices. They seemed familiar, somehow… But no one she knew ever spoke like the people in the room did. Everyone had a strange foreign accent – except for one, who was so stupidly American that it nearly made the trio face-palm.

While both Steph and Sara were musing over where they had heard the voices from, Auro was dealing with an entirely different problem. Her right hand was covering her nose and mouth, her eyes scrunched up tightly in concentration. No, no, no! I can't! Not now! She was pleading to some unknown person in her head, one eyebrow twitching anxiously. But the problem refused to leave, building and building until it was almost entirely too much to subdue. Auro felt herself start to freak out, knowing that she couldn't hold back any longer.

"Kh-CHU!!"

Right as there was a lull in the bickering amongst the men in the room, Auro sneezed. All of them stopped talking, seeming to freeze in surprise. Steph had recognized the source of the sound and silently smacked her forehead with her palm. Same as Steph, Sara found herself mentally stringing out a colorful array of curses.

"Who sneezed?" The man with the British accent asked; the sounds of his shoes on the carpet ceasing as he did so.

It was the American that answered first; "Haha, it wasn't me, dudes! Heroes never get colds!"

"It was not me, either." French accent this time.

"It came from behind me, da?" The man with the heavy Russian pronunciation spoke for the second time at the gathering. His voice sounded from the chair directly in front of the curtains. Auro found herself going rigid, damning the dusty curtains to hell as much as they had damned her to be discovered. Subconsciously, she tried to adjust her footing so that she could inch deeper into the curtains – only to catch the very edges of her flip-flops on the bottom trailing of the velvet. She let out a startled shriek as her feet mysteriously became entangled, causing her to lose her balance and fall forward. The curtain was yanked off its rod when Auro made a vain attempt to catch herself by grasping onto it.

All the men in the room whirled to stare as Auro collapsed in a heap in front of the window, tangled amongst the curtains. Those that were sitting got to their feet in surprised reflex; the ones that still remained standing remained in place in astonishment. Yanking an arm free, Auro lifted her head and met the six different pairs of eyes on her. "U-uh…" She stammered, feeling her face heat up from embarrassment and the rest of her body go cold from terror.

Nearly all at once, the room broke into an uproar.

"What the hell?" The American shouted in shock, while the Brit angrily yelled over him: "An Axis spy! I bloody knew they'd pull something like this!"

"Quickly, someone grab 'er!"

Before Auro could react other than a startled squeal, a large hand had grasped the back of her neck and yanked her to her feet. It was the Russian, tall and as intimidating as stereotypes could go. "Not very smart spy, hiding behind curtains, da?" He chuckled eerily to the others, while Auro squirmed in his grasp. Her eyes were shut and her voice was flooding with alarm as she yelled; "I-I'm not a spy! Ow!" Why are all these voices so familiar? Her mind only now just thought, trying to distract itself from the pain the Russian's hold was causing in her neck.

The other five men quickly surrounded Auro, all looking either angry or suspicious. "I 'ighly doubt that," the Frenchman said, his airy accent prominent in his words.

"P-please, listen to me…!" Auro started to beg, opening her eyes a crack – only to freeze entirely. Her mouth gaped into a perfect "o" shape and her green eyes slowly jumped from each man's face to the next. "Holy… crap…" She whispered softly.

They all stared at her flabbergasted expression. Her sudden stunned silence and now lack of defense was the last thing he had expected. The American asked "What's wrong with her?" as he leaned forward a bit to peer at Auro more closely. A new voice – quiet and lacking in a distinct accent – spoke up. "M-maybe he's squeezing her neck too hard?" The sixth voice offered softly, but none of the other countries gave sign that they had heard him.

Auro finally managed to find her voice, starting out by letting out a choked gasping sound. Then, she tried again: "I-I know you guys…"

"Ha! Sure you do," the British man laughed a bit. "You were sent to spy on us, remember?"

"N-no! I mean…" Trying to ignore the pressure on the back of her neck, Auro somehow stammered out: "I've seen you before… You're the…"

"We're what? Spit it out, aru!"

"OH MY FIRE TRUCKING GOD, YOU GUYS ARE THE ALLIED COUNTRIES."

The room couldn't have been any more quiet.

"W-what are you talking about?" The British man – whom Auro now recognized was England, with his bushy eyebrows and saggy blonde hair – was the first to recover his voice.

"This chic has got to be nuts or something," America laughed, albeit a bit nervously. "I mean, how the heck could countries be people? That's totally insane—"

China quickly snapped: "Shut up, aru!" He then looked back at Auro; "Aiyah… Could she really know?"

"Maybe we should interrogate her, da?" Russia suggested with the usual childish smile on his face. "I could get my pickaxe."

Before any of the other countries could agree with – or cower at – Russia's idea, a newer – and thankfully familiar voice to Auro – rang out. "Step away from the Fangirk!"

All the nations turned to see Steph and Sara standing on the opposite side of the table, looking both awed and uneasy at once. Steph had her hands determinedly placed on her hips, and she repeated: "Go on – move away from our Fangirk!"

"… What the bloody hell is a 'fangirk'?"

Auro, on a reflex, started to list off for England: "Fangirk, used in noun form, it's a rare species of beetle that—"

"Not now, Auro…" Sara cut in quickly, her eyes taking in the small group of Allies. "Geez… So it really is them?"

"So the wish-charm thingy worked? Huh." Steph blinked a few times before going serious again. "Anyway… If you would be so kind, boys, would you let go of our friend?"

It took the men a few moments to get over the surprise of there being two other intruders. Then, it was the all-American-boy who responded first. He laughed that obnoxiously loud laugh of his before saying, "Dudes, do you really think we'd do that? We totally outnumber you five to three!"

Both Auro, Sara, and Steph sweat-dropped. He forgot Canada… Again.

"And besides, you amateurs were the ones spying on us! Why would we let you go?" America laughed again for the heck of it. China was nodding, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he agreed with the fellow country for probably the first time in a while. "America has point, aru," he said, frowning at Sara and Steph. "Axis spies will not get off very lightly."

"Y-you seriously think we're spies?" Sara asked, astonished with even wider eyes. "You've gotta be kidding me, China!"

"Aiyah?! Do you two know as well?!" The Chinaman jolted backwards in shock, staring at Sara as if she had just pronounced that she had a hidden foot sticking out of her anus.

Softly sighing – half out of nerves, another out of how slow the guys were being – Steph replied, "Yes, both of us know about you guys being countries…"

"Then there is no bloody way we can let you three go!!" England sharply responded less than an instant later, his thick brows furrowed together to look like one giant caterpillar. "What if you all go around blabbing about it to other normal humans?"

"Oui, I agree with Monsieur Brows – we cannot allow these young ladies to simply wander freely since they know of our secret." France shrugged almost in a helpless motion at the other two, shaking his head sadly with closed eyes.

"Wait! Country-guys, we can totally explain why we're here!"

All went silent as the attention of the entire room was focused back on Auro. She was waving her hands rapidly in front of her, eyes shut away from worry, and had an uneasy smile plastered to her face.

Steph and Sara blinked at Auro. "We can?" They asked questioningly at the same time.

Auro nodded at her friends fervently; "Absolutely! … I hope."
